Finally, my Street Art Travel Guide to Paris is here! If you’re subscribed to my newsletter or follow me on Instagram, you already know it’s been quite the rollercoaster. As my first independent, self-published book, the journey wasn’t without its challenges and setbacks. But after all the hard work, the book is ready—and you can now order your copy!
My Paris Street Art Book: Two Formats, One Comprehensive Guide
Before you order your copy, there’s something important to know—something that also explains why the project was delayed: my Paris street art book is actually two books.
Let me explain.
Both versions feature the same content—278 pages of text and photos—but they come in two formats, designed to meet different needs and budgets. This approach allowed me to make the book accessible to more people while also honoring Paolo Giannotti’s beautiful photography.
- The Art Photography Book uses the highest quality paper available, making it perfect for art lovers who want a stunning coffee table book. Measuring 254mm x 178mm, it’s ideal for showcasing the vibrant details of the photos.
- The Travel Guide comes in a portable A5 format (210mm x 148mm) with lightweight paper, perfect to carry during your explorations.
Just to be clear, the content—including all texts and photos—is exactly the same in both versions. The only differences are the size and the paper quality. By creating two formats, I hoped to offer something for everyone—whether you’re looking for an elegant art book or a practical guide to take with you on your adventures.
As Seen on the Streets of Paris: A Local Artists’ Guide to Exploring Urban Art in Paris.
What will you find in my Paris Street Art Book?
True to the ethos of “Be Local,” the guiding principle behind my travel and street art blog “BLocal Travel” (Est. 2011), this book combines my perspective with the invaluable insights of 13 Parisian street artists. These artists shared their favorite spots and offered a genuine local perspective on the city’s urban art scene. Their contributions infuse the guide with authentic local flavor, leading readers to both iconic landmarks and hidden gems. Drawing from their tips and my own extensive research, this guidebook highlights the best street art neighborhoods in Paris—and beyond—offering a richer, non-touristy glimpse into the city.
Each neighborhood featured in the guide showcases unique murals, street art, and graffiti, reflecting the city’s evolving artistic identity.
